How we handle your data
No Account Required
TakeTwo does not require you to create an account. You can use the tool anonymously without providing any personal information like your name, email, or phone number.
How Your Message Is Analyzed
When you submit a message for analysis, the following data is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service for processing:
- The message text you paste
- Optional sender information you provide
- Your answers to the clarifying questions
Anthropic processes this data to generate the fraud risk analysis. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy and terms of service.
Message Retention
We do not store your submitted message on our servers after analysis.
Your message is processed transiently: it passes through our server to reach the AI service and the response is returned to you. Once the analysis is complete, the message content is not retained by us.
We do not build profiles, train models on your submissions, or keep records linking you to messages you've checked.
What We Log
Our servers may log non-content metadata for operational purposes:
- Timestamps of requests
- Error codes (if analysis fails)
- General usage metrics (request counts)
We do not log the content of your messages or the analysis results.
We do not sell, share, or monetize the content of messages you submit.
Browser Storage
We use your browser's local storage only for rate limiting. The data stored is:
- A count of analyses you've run today
- Today's date (to reset the count daily)
This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Data You Control
You can clear the rate limiting data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. This will:
- Reset your daily analysis count
- Remove all data TakeTwo has stored on your device
In most browsers: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data (for this site only).
